Christmas Letter
Dear Santa,
This Christmas is colder than last time. I heard you give the naughty children coal but I would like some too if you can. The fireplace has not been used in a while and it will help with warming Gran. She is very poorly and does not like all the blankets we put on her. Daddy says we can’t make the house warm because we don’t have the money. Maybe the coal will help. (I promise not to use it on Christmas Eve though!)
Mummy also says she doesn’t have the money for the presents I want too, so I hope the elves can make them for me. I have been a very good boy this year. I never lie and always tell the truth. I did make my friend Susie upset when I said her new coat looked like a dead fox, but it is always better to be honest because lying makes you a bad boy. My brother is also very mean to me, but I do not hit him because you would be sad. I tell him I only do it for Santa and he laughs at me. He says you are not real, so he is definitely not getting any presents.
I would like-
That golden teddy bear I see in the nearby shop window
A big train set
I also want you to use your magic to-
Make Gran better
Make the shouting in the house stop
I hope it did not put me on the naughty list but I tiptoed downstairs and saw you kissing Mummy. You both looked very happy. The day after, Daddy was angry and shouted at Mummy. She was crying but I did not know what she did wrong. Is she on the naughty list Santa? Maybe you can see her again to make her happy. Also tell Daddy to not shout at her for kissing you.
I can’t wait for you to come over to the house. I will leave you some milk. Sorry if it smells weird; we have no more left. Tell Rudolph I love him and his nose is cute.
Love you lots Santa x
Jonathan
