Escaping the Fog

I wander through lands sun-kissed by your dust

Weaving through logic jungles to find hope

Traversing reason, baseless blue lust,

Ensnaring the reluctant with gold rope,

Dazzling in ephemeral dismay,

Watching gold rune stones gather in your gloom,

Resilient sly strand of perfect hay,

Fluttering through into a wretched room,

Illuminating lost life with your touch,

Cascading deep down in rippling purple,

Vision in this light is your hand to clutch,

Connecting me to you in a whirlpool,

Penetrating through the deepest places,

Wherein we find forgotten spaces.
