My diamond is a belter of a girl,

Vivid and bright.

She shines bright.

I see my diamond in the vast, deep sky

And I wait for her to see me.

We drew constellations on our fingertips so

We could reach for you beyond oblivion –

Bare your soul to the planets

A mossy pebble in the rain

A set of dusty, creaking stairs,

An empty room, filled with silence

She is a part of

everything and an

inspiration to us all

grieving is evidence

of the strength of love.

Great drum beats

Large symphonies

Shrieking trumpets

Grand piano slide

Your voice

Rises as smoke from a chimney, wandering afar

Dances like flames warming a stagnant room

Burnishing the walls with honeyed amber.
